We see countless crowdfunding campaigns becoming successful every day but not all of them become insanely successful. It’s only a few out of the entire lot that are able to cross their goal by over 10 to 20 times. These campaigns are definitely doing something more than expected, and it’s actually working in their favor. So when it comes down to planning your own crowdfunding campaign, you can definitely take some constructive feedback from these campaigns. Today’s blog highlights five such successful crowdfunding campaigns from 2021 and what you can learn from each of them.

1. ChessUp

Being one of the most funded chess campaigns on Kickstarter ever, if not the most funded, ChessUp broke records with a fantastically designed campaign page. One of the crucial factors that they missed is a campaign video, but in spite of not having a video, they still managed to cross their goal with a detailed page description and overall presentation. You will find every feature of the product well explained along with lucrative add-ons to make the campaign more attractive for backers.

What You Can Learn From Them: No matter what your product is, you need to ensure you are explaining each feature and usability in detail. You can also divide the features and explain them through graphics to break up the monotony.

2. Sentien Audio

Another campaign that will instantly draw your attention is Sentien Audio. Their campaign video does it all. With a beautiful commercial that not only explains the product features but also introduces you to the team behind the entire campaign, it was quite unlikely for this campaign to not cross the success level it did. The video is well shot with minimal background score and maximum focus on the product and its features.

What You Can Learn From Them: The campaign’s video plays a very important role in drawing mass attention. You will not only solely focus on the product’s script but can also add a personal touch by introducing your team. Your team can be just you but that personal touch will definitely add to the overall credibility of your campaign.

3. Eye Mask by Ostrichpillow

When it’s a product from Ostrichpillow, you know that it will be truly useful for everyday use. But when a known brand takes to crowdfunding, you need to ensure your brand reputation is not at stake. So it was great to see the way Ostrichpillow highlighted the product features and why you need it in your life beautifully through their campaign page.

What You Can Learn From Them: If you are a reputed brand taking the path of crowdfunding, you need to ensure you are representing your product with your regular branding and mentions of your previous successes. This will help you retain brand credibility and gain new customers at the same time.

4. Retio

Crowdfunding a classic, retro product with such tremendous success is not easy, but Retio did it well with their amazing page representation. What was truly impressive about their campaign was the way they also highlighted the manufacturing process through graphics and well-shot images.

What You Can Learn From Them: No matter how much you write, graphics play a huge role in uplifting your crowdfunding page layout. With eye-catching graphics and imagery, you can take your crowdfunding campaign one step further towards being a success.

5. The First 3D Luminous Colored Wooden World Map

First of all, this campaign stands out in the way they have used graphics to represent their product. But one thing that truly makes them striking is their communication with backers. From responding to every comment to giving regular updates, they have been keeping up with their level of communication in the best way possible.

What You Can Learn From Them: One important aspect of every campaign is communication. The more you do it, the better. Be it responding to backer queries on time or sending out regular updates, your mode of communication will define your campaign credibility.

With new campaigns released every day, it’s become fairly easy to take feedback from existing successes and failures in crowdfunding. The more you refer and discuss in crowdfunding forums, the easier it will be for you to focus on the correct areas and improve your own campaign.
